Alison Falkonakis, is a British writer who lived for many years in the town of Leonidio in Arcadia. Alison has been shortlisted for the prestigious Bridport Prize for her poetry and her first two children’s books were nominated for a Public Award. Alison made the White Ravens list of 2015 amongst the recommended reading list for the whole world. Alongside her own writing, Alison has translated many Greek stories into English so that they can be shared across the world. Alison now lives back in the United Kingdom with her teenage children and their rescue dog Monty in a house with a wild garden and squirrels for Monty to chase.
